GEORGE NEWS - Gracehill College held their annual school Carnival on Saturday, 6 May and it was well supported by the community. The stall holders set up early and the Carnival was already abuzz with activity before they officially opened at 08:00.
Jumping castles, candyfloss, popcorn and other delights kept the younger ones busy, which left parents free to browse the many interesting stalls. There was a tremendous variety of stalls that provided something for everyone.
The pre-loved table of mixed items is always a popular place for browsers to search for any treasures at bargain prices. These tables held donated items of any kind sold at reasonable prices.
The popular catch-up place was Linger Coffee Shop and the shop supplied a steady stream of coffee and other baked delights. Situated at 88 Hope Street, it is open from 08:00 until 15:00 daily.
