GEORGE NEWSFLASH - A firefighter was taken to hospital on Tuesday 6 November after his vehicle went down an embankment in Visarendpark in the Groenkloof area.
According to initial information the firefighter was monitoring the fire in the area when his bakkie slid down the embankment. The road was wet and muddy due to rain on Monday and Tuesday.
Emergency services swiftly responded and ER24 paramedics transported him to the Mediclinic George where he was treated for minor injuries.
