GEORGE NEWS - The SWD Eagles will make a special guest appearance at a stylish affair on Friday 7 July when a fundraiser fashion show will be held in aid of Wings of Hope Cancer Support.
Cancer survivors will be showing off garments from Anna's Boutique in the cosy atmosphere of Nostalgie Cafe at Groenkloof Retirement Village. It starts at 14:00 and promises to be loads of fun.
"It is going to be a celebration of the beauty of life and we invite guests to step into style together with us and the Eagles in support of a great cause. By attending, guests will make a difference in the lives of cancer warriors in George. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Wings of Hope," says Ingrid Watkins, George volunteer at Wings of Hope.

Wings of Hope is a caring group of women and men who understand the unique effects that being diagnosed with cancer may have on an individual, both physically and emotionally.
They offer, among others, information, telephonic support and hospital visits, and they hold informal public meetings in relaxing surroundings over a cup of tea or coffee.
