GEORGE NEWS - Well-known speaker on the science/Scripture controversy, Dr Philip Stott, will give a seminar comprising six talks in George on 25, 26 and 27 November.
The talks are drawn from his comprehensive studies in the scientific, mathematical, biological and astronomical fields.
An atheist for years, he later converted to Christianity and spent several years investigating the apparent contradictions between the Bible and all that he had accepted as an atheist.
This led to giving lectures on the relationship between science and Scripture.
He is currently a research fellow at the Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein.
