GEORGE NEWS - Checkers at Redefine Boulevard in York Street will most likely open again tomorrow.
The store was closed earlier today when a support employee tested positive for Covid-19.
According to their media representative, a professional decontamination company was brought in to sanitise and deep clean the store.
“Where necessary, those with close contact are required to self-quarantine for 14 days,” reads their comment.
“The Group works closely with the various authorities and the Provincial Department of Health, and it is anticipated that the store will be able to reopen again tomorrow.”
