GEORGE NEWS - Police are still looking for two armed suspects after a cash-in-transit robbery at the Thembalethu Mall at the Fourways intersection last week.
At approximately 07:00 on Thursday morning 3 September, two armed men robbed a Fidelity Cash Solutions crew of a substantial amount of money while they were loading an ATM. The robbers allegedly fled the scene in a maroon Isuzu bakkie with registration number CAW 72418.
According to Wahl Bartmann, CEO of Fidelity Services Group, the incident in George ads to a concerning increase in the number of cash-in-transit robberies nationwide over the last two months.
