GEORGE NEWS - The body of a 68-year-old man who was reported missing yesterday, Monday 24 July, was found at the Garden Route Dam earlier today.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies, preliminary investigation reveals the man went for his daily walk yesterday afternoon but didn't return home.
"He was reported as missing to police last night. A search party was established which was halted during the early hours this morning," said Spies.
George police opened an inquest docket.
An autopsy to determine the cause of death is yet to be conducted.
