GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - Bail has been denied for Johannes Jacobs and Gert Bezuidenhout in the George Magistrate’s Court this afternoon, Friday 17 January.
In his judgement Magistrate André Aucamp said their release on bail will not be in the interest of justice, nor could he find any exceptional circumstances to justify bail.
The case has been postponed until 20 February for further investigation as the state is still waiting for cell phone analyses and ballistic reports.
