GEORGE NEWS - A 62-year-old man died after he was hit by two motor vehicles on Nelson Mandela Boulevard near Parkdene on Tuesday evening, 5 May at about 19:30.
Conville police have since opened a culpable homicide docket.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Warrant Officer Chris Spies, police found the victim with serious injuries.
He was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.
“A search for the two vehicles involved is currently underway,” said Spies.
The police are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in tracing the drivers.
