GEORGE NEWS - This month, Panarottis George is proud to be celebrating 31 years of delicious pizza, pasta and grills in the Garden Route.

Over the past three decades, we have taken great pride in building long-lasting relationships with our loyal customers and going the extra mile to ensure that our establishment remains the number one family-friendly choice in the area.

As the second Panarottis restaurant to open its doors in South Africa in 1991 and the oldest Panarottis franchise in its original destination, Panarottis George is still owned by the original owner, Nanno Evenhuis.

Dean Hahn became partner in 1998 and Deon Barnard in 2001. The current store operator, Sithembele Nzipo, joined the restaurant in April 2002 as a pizza maker and worked himself up the ranks to now operate the store – a testament to the dedication, guidance and care that we put into our most important asset: our staff.

As a firmly established restaurant, we’re passionate about community involvement. Our Pizza Busts are a fun and exciting way to give back to our customers by surprising a nominated school, office team or group with delicious pizza.

Quality comes first in everything we do, using only the finest selection of award-winning local- and internationally-sourced ingredients including olive oils, balsamic vinegar, Parmesan cheese, Danish feta, Italian pizza flour and 100% durum wheat pasta.

We still prepare our delizioso pizzas following the same century-old tradition, used by those that came before us. Our Italian 00 Stagioni pizza flour creates the perfect dough, proofed for 24hrs before it’s hand-pressed by our Master pizza chefs for your enjoyment.

Over the years, we’ve become known for our unique offering and value-for-money meals like our family-sized (42 cm) Monsterito pizzas, half-and-half duo pizzas, refreshing sangria and weekday promotions.

Of course, the kids’ offering is huge a hit with little bambinos who are spoilt for choice with a wide range of tasty meals and “Make your own” pizzas and waffles that they can create right at the table.
