BUSINESS NEWS - Being voted Best Private School in George is an honour we never take for granted.
To receive this recognition for the fourth consecutive year makes it especially meaningful, and we are deeply grateful to every person who voted for Glenwood House in the 2026 Best of George Readers' Choice Awards.
This award belongs to our entire school community. It belongs to the students who fill our classrooms, sports fields and stages with energy, curiosity and determination.
It belongs to our teachers, coaches, administrative teams and support staff, whose expertise, care and commitment shape each school day.
It also belongs to our parents, past and present, who have trusted us with their children and partnered with us in helping them grow.
For 20 years, Glenwood House has been proud to call George home.
Since opening in 2006, our school has grown into a vibrant community serving students from Grade 0000 to Grade 12, with weekly and termly boarding options.
A heartfelt moment shared by the students.
Throughout that journey, our purpose has remained solid: to provide an excellent, values-driven education in which every student is known, encouraged and given opportunities to thrive.
Our authentic Christian ethos lies at the heart of school life.
It guides the way we teach, lead, serve and care for one another. Alongside strong academics, we value sport, culture, leadership and service - because education is about far more than marks alone.
It is about developing young people of character, confidence and purpose who are prepared to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

As we celebrate this award and our twentieth anniversary, we are also looking ahead to an exciting new chapter.
From January 2027, Glenwood House will formally join the Trinityhouse family and become Trinityhouse Glenwood.
This step builds on a longstanding shared heritage.
Glenwood House and Trinityhouse are closely aligned in their commitment to authentic Christian education, academic excellence, strong values and a genuine sense of belonging.
Joining the Trinityhouse family will create opportunities for deeper collaboration, shared expertise and broader educational support, strengthening our school for the future.
While our name and uniform will gradually change, the heart of Glenwood House will remain.
Our staff, Christian identity, educational philosophy, traditions and close community relationships will continue to shape who we are.
This is not the beginning of a different story, but the next chapter in the story our community has built together.
To the people of George, thank you.
Your support over four consecutive years affirms what can be achieved when a school and its community share a common purpose.
We are proud of our past, grateful for the present and excited for our future as Trinityhouse Glenwood.
