BUSINESS NEWS AND VIDEO - Genisus Extreme Gaming Arena is here to bring new perspectives and activities to George. They are the first permanent competitive gaming arena in George, offering a space for gamers of all ages and skills to connect, compete, and experience professional gaming.

Players can choose between hourly gaming plans or monthly memberships, and can compete in regular tournaments and events.

The Arena consists of a variety of gaming sections including:

PC gaming with top-tier competitive multiplayer games as well as casual gaming
Racing simulators for realistic racing experiences
Console gaming with a variety of games

Gaming is just the surface level of our vision - Genisus wants to build the future of esports in South Africa. They are committed to growing the local competitive and casual gaming scene as well as putting South Africa on the global esports map.

They are driven to empower the local youth in George and nearby towns to create educational programmes to develop skills in technology, business development, and other fields, while also creating job opportunities and career pathways for the youth in the esports industry.

The public is invited to join the grand opening on Saturday 25 January at 15 Market Street, George, starting at 10:00. Highlights of the day include: free gaming for everyone, competitions with prizes to be won and a fun day for the whole family.
