GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - The lovely aroma of coffee draws you into Coffeeniqua at 104 Meade Street. But this is not a café or a coffee bar. Coffeeniqua is a speciality store selling choice coffee equipment and accessories.
Come here to buy your coffee machine and leave knowing exactly how to brew the perfect cuppa with your own apparatus!
It is the go-to shop when looking for that perfect gift for a coffee connoisseur or for anyone really who enjoys a good cup of coffee. In support of local business, they also retail the best locally roasted coffee beans which they are happy to grind for you in-store.
"Buying a coffee machine is an investment," says Dylan Harriss, who shares this new business with his brother, Gareth Harriss and Gareth's wife Janine.
"We are an accredited dealer and service centre for the brands of coffee machines we sell and your investment comes with a manufacturer's warranty," assures Gareth. Purchase of a traditional machine will include installation and a barista introductory course to be hosted quarterly by local baristas.
With Gareth's 17 years of experience selling and servicing state-of-the-art coffee machines and Dylan's barista knowledge, you are well on your way to becoming your own barista at home.
Specialising in marketing, Dylan Harriss sources the latest and the best coffee equipment worldwide.
Janine runs the day-to-day operations in the shop, while Dylan concentrates on marketing the business and sourcing stylish coffee equipment worldwide. Gareth continues to head up the service and repair operation for Coffeeniqua along the Garden Route and has a product and repair knowledge few can compete with.
In addition to providing a wide range of quality coffee equipment and accessories for the various brewing methods, this is also where you can pick up your coffee paraphernalia for camping or travelling.
"Come in and design your custom travel kit," invites Dylan.
Coffee tastings will be offered in the near future and they plan on using local baristas to run their quarterly coffee brewing courses.
