GEORGE NEWS - Tourism is one of the major sectors driving the economy of the Garden Route and the December holiday is the most important season of the year when there is a huge influx of visitors.
In an effort to gauge business activity, Dennis Farrell of Business Café has launched a survey among businessowners, leaders and management on how their businesses fared during the holiday.
"The purpose is to gauge businesses' comparative 2024 to 2023 experience of business activity during the festive season," says Farrell.
"The outcome of the survey will be published and shared with local business organisations, leaders and management for deliberation and further analysis."
It will take only four minutes to complete the survey.
Participants' input is voluntary and is captured automatically. It is strictly confidential and Farrell says anonymity is guaranteed.
All data collected is reported in aggregate.
