GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality advises residents of a planned electricity supply interruption in George South on Thursday, 17 July from 14:00 to 15:00. The interruption will affect the following streets: Union, Cradock, Palgrave, Frieda, Kersie, School, Meade, and Pigmy Streets.
The planned outage is required to allow for essential alterations to the electrical mains infrastructure.
Residents are strongly advised to treat all electrical installations as live during the entire period, as power may be restored at any time without prior notice.
Should weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the work from being completed as scheduled, the power outage will be rescheduled for Thursday, 24 July, from 14:00 to 15:00.
The municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation.
