GEORGE NEWS - The Municipality is currently experiencing five truck breakdowns, leaving only 10 compactors and 3 cage trucks in operation. 

This will cause delays in waste collection today.

The following areas will still be serviced, but later than usual:

  • Heather Park
  • Parts of Heatherlands
  • Parts of Blanco
  • Breakwater Bay
  • Herolds Bay

All refuse collection scheduled for today will be completed.
