GEORGE NEWS - Following continued concerns regarding reckless driving by motorists accessing the Municipal gate at the Victoria Street entrance and to ensure the safety of pedestrians and employees, a decision has been made to permanently close the Victoria Street entrance to the George Municipality main building.
The Victoria Street entry gate will be permanently closed from 1 August.
This action has been taken to address the issue of reckless driving in the parking area.
