GEORGE NEWS - A burst on the main water pipeline in Kanna Street has resulted in an unplanned water interruption in Protea Park while George Municipality carries out emergency repairs.

Residents in Protea Park are experiencing an unplanned water interruption after a burst on the main water pipeline in Kanna Street.
George Municipality said the water supply had been shut off to enable repair teams to safely carry out the necessary work.
Water tanker deployed
The estimated time for the restoration of water supply is between one and two hours.
A water tanker has been dispatched to the area to provide water to affected residents while repairs are under way.
George Municipality apologised for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience and understanding.
