GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality hereby notifies the public that the LEU eye test machines at the Driver’s Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) are currently out of service due to unforeseen technical issues. This issue is being experienced across the province.
No driver’s licence transactions can be processed at the DLTC while the eye test machines are offline.
This interruption does not affect the services at the Vehicle Testing Station (VTS) or Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) offices in town, which continue to operate as normal.
The municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused and assures the public that services will resume once the system is restored.
