GEORGE NEWS - Due to the current rainfall, George Municipality has said that certain operations are being temporarily suspended today as the weather conditions pose a safety risk to municipal drivers and employees.
Operations will resume tomorrow, weather permitting, and outstanding work will be attended to.
Residents whose refuse has not yet been collected are requested to please move their refuse back onto their property and place it out again tomorrow morning for collection.
