GEORGE NEWS - The George Motor Vehicle Testing Station will be closed on Friday, 20 March, as municipal officials will be attending mandatory training.
The training is presented by the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) and will take place at the Gene Louw Traffic College.
The session forms part of the rollout and implementation of the RTS Tablet system aimed at improving the efficiency and administration of vehicle testing services.
Three examiners from George Municipality will attend the training session on this date.
Members of the public are therefore advised that no vehicle testing services will be available on Friday, 20 March at the Hibernia Street Motor Vehicle Testing Station. Normal services will resume on Monday, 23 March.
George Municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their understanding as officials undergo training to enhance service delivery.
