To date, more than 95% of George’s electricity supply has been restored.
Restorations planned for today
- Wilderness: Silver River Rd - to be restored today. Dinnie Line (no street name) - to be restored today. Tien Myl Ave (Dr Strydom line) - repairs in progress. Lilly Rd - Repairs to start tomorrow
- Hoekwil: All to be restored today: Oliefanthoek Rd, Lorrie St, Church Rd, Platrug Ave, Bosbok Str: Two clients/ Tranformers.
- Hoekwil: Touwriver Rd: One client - repairs to be done tomorrow. Bergsig: two clients -Repairs to be done tomorrow
- Kamaasie Rd - Kammasie line will be repaired today.
- Update: Protea park: Pole and new line completed – in progress
- Victoria Bay: M. Lammers Antiques, Vodacom tower, and Overdale B&B. Excavation and medium-voltage repairs are in progress. No ETR available.
- Rondebosie work in progress, expected restoration Saturday
- Katdoring Close - Pole still to be planted outstanding to be planted.
- Zone 4, ongoing and proceeding well, will continue today.
