GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality has notified the public that due to unforeseen circumstances, vehicles are limited today, and several compactor trucks are temporarily out of service.
Waste collection is affected in some areas, but their teams will work overtime to ensure service delivery.
Areas affected are Maraiskamp, Ballotsview, Borcherds, Lawaaikamp, Parkdene, Rosemoor, Thembalethu Zone 8 and 9 and CBD areas.
Due to operational constraints, only three trucks are available for green bag collections and delays are expected.
To minimise disruptions, all available trucks will assist in the affected areas.
