GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality has scheduled a planned water outage from 08:00 to 12:00 on Tuesday, 14 July, to allow teams to repair a connection on the bulk water supply.
The interruption will affect Wilderness CBD and surrounding areas.
Consumers are advised to treat all water installations as live throughout the maintenance period, as supply could be restored at any time before the scheduled end of the outage. Low water pressure may also be experienced.
The municipality warned that temporary disruptions to municipal water services may occur while the work is underway. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution near the work area.
Should unforeseen circumstances delay the repairs, the work will be rescheduled for Wednesday, 15 July, from 08:00 to 12:00.
