GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality has notified the public that household and business waste collection continues as normal today, Tuesday 24 February.
However, due to operational constraints and the scale of daily operations, the collection of green bags (garden waste) will be delayed until later this week.
There will therefore be no green bag collection today. All compactor and cage trucks have been prioritised for normal household and business waste collection.
Currently operating:
• 8 Compactor Trucks
• 3 Cage Trucks
