GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality Landfill Site on the R102 (Airport Road) is open and operational.
Motorists are, however, urged to exercise extreme caution when accessing the site, as the road surface remains wet and waterlogged following the recent adverse weather conditions.
Due to current conditions, only one side of the road is accessible for vehicles travelling up towards the landfill site.
Drivers are requested to proceed slowly and adhere to traffic control measures.
