I fully support Messrs Kenny Africa (Western Cape traffic chief) and Lafras Boesak (George Traffic Department) when they say the law states, "Give way to your right, regardless as to whether it's a big or small circle." So why the controversy?
It's simple and in line with the Kiss (keep it straight and simple) philosophy. If a sign warns a driver of a circle ahead, it should be treated as a circle, and if of a four-way stop, as a four-way stop.
Surely one can't have an either/or at a single intersection.
