GEORGE NEWS - The organisers of the Touwswil Market are inviting community members with a love for storytelling to take part in a special storytelling experience planned for later this month.
The market will take place on 28 March from 09:00 to 13:00 at the Touwsranten Community Hall, where organisers hope to create a cosy storytelling space where people of all ages can gather and enjoy the magic of a good story.
They are also looking for someone from the community who enjoys sharing stories. Both children and adults will be welcome to listen during the storytelling sessions at the market.
As part of the initiative, organisers plan to create a magical nook where the storytelling sessions will take place. To help bring the space to life, the community is invited to donate items that can be used to decorate the area.
Items needed include blankets or rugs, hay bales for seating, old curtains and fabric scraps, party decorations such as lights, and scatter cushions or pillows.
Donations can be dropped off before 22 March. For more information, phone 074 131 6859.
