GEORGE NEWS - Emmaüs is hosting a Mini Xmas market on Thursday 6 June from 10:00 to 13:00 at the centre in Memoriam Street.
There will be cupcakes at R15, pancakes at R6, coffee and tea at R10 as well as cool drinks and juice for sale.
Their second-hand clothing store will be trading as well as their shop on the premises where they sell their beautifully made woodwork and needlework articles.
Bookworms will be able to browse a collection of second-hand books for sale.
Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and something to eat while you browse the wide variety that will be available.
"Visitors will also be able to visit their intellectually disabled beneficiaries in the different areas where they are busy creating interesting crafts or restoring furniture. We would love to introduce you to a day at Emmaüs," says Elsabe Badenhorst, head of the centre.
Supporting this market and other events hosted by Emmaüs will help them raise much-needed funds that will enable them to continue with the indispensable service they render in the George community.
