The Director, Edwina Rapley, has once again gathered the crème de la crème of local talent for her latest show. "We have been rehearsing for some time to bring to stage one of the most spectacular Broadway musicals Irving Berlin has ever written. The company has had a blast rehearsing the roles of the cowboys and Indians and every practice has been full of laughter, with the male chorus reliving their youthful games!
The show sees a lot of new faces including chorus mistress Drini Botha, who has kept the Arts Theatre Company in tune with her brilliant accompaniment and is also part of the 10-piece band under the baton of Allan Armstrong. Taking the leading role as Annie Oakley is Bronwyn Stammer," said Rapley with her customary verve and enthusiasm.
Evening performances are at 19:30 with a matinee on Saturday 22 June at 14:30. Tickets are available from the theatre box office or by calling 044 8743142 or online at www.computicket.com.
