ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - With the school holidays in full swing, theatre lovers are encouraged to secure their seats for George Arts Theatre's latest production, Footloose: The Musical, running from 1 to 4 July and again from 8 to 11 July.

Evening performances start at 19:00, with special afternoon matinees at 14:00 on Saturday 4 July and Saturday 11 July. 

Tickets are priced between R150 and R170 and are available on Webtickets.

Directed by Quintin van Biljon, the production brings together a vibrant cast and crew in a fast-paced, high-energy retelling of this beloved musical. 

The junior cast members worked tirelessly throughout the exam period, grinding away to perfect their choreography and master the chorus numbers that bring the show to life.

The musical is a celebration of music, youth, and the power of standing up for what you believe in.
