With the theme ‘The Great Gatsby’ the ten male and ten female participants modelled clothes from De Jager Outfitters, Truworths and Immortal respectively, with Illa Hair & Beauty ensuring the entrants’ hair also fitted the theme.
However, this year a community outreach element was added whereby all 20 participants had to raise funds for a community organisation. Approximately R30 000 for Life Community Services was raised by the learners who are all in Grade 12.
The judges for the evening were Nicole Moolman (Group Editors), Rene Heunis (Outeniqua High School), Wilhelm Koch (SWD Eagles captain), Elzaan Sieberhagen (photographer: The Shot), and Lindi Marais (Miss Kwagga 1999).
