GEORGE NEWS - Music lovers and worshippers are invited to an evening of praise, worship and uplifting gospel music at the Old School Gospel Worship Experience, taking place at VGK Church in Pacaltsdorp on Sunday 12 July, at 17:00.
Hosted by Noble Ministries, the event will feature acclaimed gospel artist Gregory Noble as the main performer, supported by guest artists Jenelee Olkers, Beverley, saxophonist Alistair Oosthuizen, young psalmist Mishael Geswint, and the Build on the Rock worship team.
The evening will also serve as a fundraiser ahead of an overseas Nelson Mandela concert on 18 July, where Noble and William “Wimpie” Williams have been invited to perform.
The invitation was extended by the Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, providing the artists with an opportunity to represent South African gospel music on an international stage.
Noble says the fundraiser concert on Sunday aims to celebrate the timeless power of old-school gospel music while bringing people together in an atmosphere of faith, praise and unity.
Tickets cost R50.
