ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The BCCSA has confirmed that it will not be taking disciplinary action against SABC 1 Soapie,Generations: The Legacy.
This comes after the show received numerous complaints for graphic sex scenes.
A series of heated scenes in recent weeks have not gone down well with fans claiming that they didn’t make for ‘family friendly viewing’.
After further investigation, however, The BCCSA found that the scenes were not explicit enough to warrant punishment
The Complaints Commission said that the SABC had not breached the South African code of conduct, but the broadcaster would now have to put a sign in place whenever “ultra suggestive sex scenes” will be aired.
They will need to warn viewers:
“Today’s episode may contain some scenes which involve suggestive sex. Viewer discretion is advised”.
