GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The George Arts Theatre is very excited to bring two great productions to the stage one final time to help raise funds for their interns who are on their way to Woordfees 2019. Dream Box was recently chosen to attend together with local artists, Klikkerland.
The theatre invites families to join them on 24 February. Tickets are R30 each or R50 for both productions. Ditch the digital and join these two imaginative shows on their colourful adventures.
The Book Tree
This fable-like adventure is sure to entertain. Funny, enduring characters and a strong moral message make The Book Tree a fun family outing.
"One day long, long ago, there was a beautiful forest. A magical forest where fairies played and danced. Inside this shadowy world, there was a very special tree. The tree was as old as Earth itself and had a very special gift to everyone that visited. It grew special fruit. Those who were kind of heart and asked the right questions had no problem getting help from The Book Tree.
The Book Tree loved sharing its fruit with everyone and making the forest dwellers happy and safe. But even in a perfect world like that of the Book Tree, there was always some trouble..."
