4 September:
Music of the Night at the DR Mother Church (19:00).
Young violinist Maja Snyman (19), known as Maja Rey on social media, presents her first live concert - a tribute to The Phantom of the Opera and other masterpieces.
The candlelit production will feature the South Cape Children's Choir, a ballerina and an organist, with Snyman performing and arranging the music herself.
Music of the Night starts at 19:30 on 4 September, with doors opening at 19:00.
Tickets cost R150 (adults) and R100 (children) and are available through Quicket.
6 September:
HA!Man at the DR Mother Church (15:30). HA!Man (Francois le Roux) is a multi-instrumentalist and imprivisational artist who frequently pairs his live shows with interactive music.
The George Music Society invites all learners who are interested in music to attend the concert for an experience they will never forget.

HA!Man (Francois le Roux)
11-13 September:
Shakespeare Schools Festival at the Market Community Theatre. Support young learners in their creative adaptions of Shakespeare's plays - seven schools over three days, 30 minutes per play. Book a ticket at Webtickets.
12 September:
Because of Success with Sifiso Nene at the George Arts Theatre. Multi award winning comedian Sifiso Nene has some few things to say on his new one man tour. Tickets cost R250, available on Webtickets.
18 & 19 September:
Elvinia’s Dance Academy will present Coppélia at the George Arts Theatre. Show times: Friday 18 September (18:30) and Saturday 19 September (15:00 and 18:30).
General tickets cost R160 per person, while a Dinner Show option is available for R380 per person, which includes front-block seating and dinner in partnership with Hussar Grill. Tickets can be booked via WhatsApp on 083 725 4215.

Scava art exhibition at the George Museum. The Southern Cape Art Association (Scava) invites art lovers to explore the intriguing space between what is and what could be with its lates group exhibition, Almost, at the Sayers Auditorium of the George Museum.
