10-11 April:
Eterna at the George Arts Theatre (19:00). Tickets cost R200 per person. Eterna blends dramatic storytelling, evocative visuals and immersive soundscapes to bring the four seasons to life on stage.
Dr Ronell van Aswegen is the writer and director. Musicians: Eden Camerata Chamber Choir with director André van Zyl. Soloists: Daniël Verster, Gerrit Jordaan, Throy Petersen.

11 April:
Triou, jazz band, at the Market Community Theatre (19:00). The programme also includes original compositions and inventive arrangements of modern pop hits, from The Beatles to Beyoncé. Tickets cost R100; book via Webtickets or contact Heather on 072 369 3304.

Until 16 April:
Summer Illume group exhibition in the George Museum’s Sayers Hall features over 200 paintings from more than 50 local artists. The exhibition opened in February and is ongoing. Entrance is free.
15 April:
Fantasy at the Moederkerk. A violin and piano duo with Piet Koornhof and Jana Mathee, who will play music by Ravel, Pärt, Magin, Fuchs and Kanchelli. Presented by the George Music Society. Time: 18:30.

15 April: Fantasy at the Moederkerk. Enjoy an evening of fantasy with violinist Piet Koornhof and pianist Jana Mathee.
16 April:
The Staccatos at the George Arts Theatre (19:00). A long-standing band consisting of Steve Ashley and Bradley Gassik, presenting old favourites. Tickets: R150 through Webtickets, or buy at the theatre.
17 April:
An evening of soulful Cape-rooted jazz at the Market theatre (19:30) with the Ramon Alexander Trio: Chadleih Gaowar (bass), Ramon Alexander (pianist and composer) and Annemie Nel (drummer). 18 April:
