26 April - 17 May:
Wild at Attic Atelier, 33 CJ Langenhoven Road. An exhibition of artworks created during a workshop of the CAP Institute for Contemporary Art Practice. Natural materials were used to create these works, inspired by an engagement with wild nature in the George plantation.
2-3 May:
Triple Bill of Dance (19:00) at the Market Theatre. Cloud 9 & Elvinia's Dance Academy presents three varied danceworks: Dance Ballads, Voices in My Head and French Collection. Tickets cost R120 per person: send a WhatsApp to Elvinia on 083 725 4215.

2-10 May:
Chekhov Moments (varied times) at the George Arts Theatre. George Society of Arts presents this year's Tapas Theatre, a mesmerising selection of Anton Chekhov's most compelling scenes in which unspoken desires, quiet tragedies and fleeting joys come to life. With a delicate balance of comedy and melancholy, this collection invites audiences to witness Chekhov's world of raw and poetic beauty through these complex, riveting characters. Showtimes are 19:00 on 2 May; 14:00 and 19:00 on 3 May; 19:00 on 9 May; 14:00 and 19:00 on 4 May. Tickets are available on www.georgeartstheatre.co.za. 4 May:
Carpe Musicam! Pops Band presents Rock, Pop & Romance at DRC Sedgefield. Tickets cost R80 (adults) and R20 (scholars) and are available at www.carpemusicam.co.za or at the door (cash only).
