Theatre Sports Evening (19:00) at the Market Community Theatre. This fun event is hosted by Eden Theatre Community.
About theatre sports: fast-paced, hilarious improvisation games in which actors create scenes on the spot, guided by audience suggestions. No scripts, just quick thinking and big laughs.
Performers and audiences are welcome. Entrance is free, but any donations are appreciated to help with the ongoing improvement and development of the theatre. Contact Stretch on 076 981 4066.

Around the World in Eighty Minutes (16:30) at the DR Mother Church. The George Music Society (GMS) will host the brilliant saxophone quartet Quartuor Avena from France. Tickets costs R170 for public, R50 for learners and R120 for GMS members, and are available at the concert and at www.georgemusicsociety. The musicians include Adam Campbell (South Africa), Sumika Tsujimoto (Japan), Fabio Cesare (Italy) and Nicolas Allard (France).
