GEORGE NEWS FLASH & VIDEO - As part of Fancourt's outreach programme for local schools there are usually many magical moments where local school children sit wide-eyed at their first classical concert.

Such an opportunity arose during a matinee performance of the classical concert Delightful Musical Moments on Friday 27 November, attended by local schools at Fancourt’s Banquet Hall when four acclaimed Cape Town Opera soloists performed songs from Mozart to Rogers and Hammerstein.
The performances by Cape Town Opera soloists Siphamandla Yakupa (soprano), Fikile Mthetwa (mezzo soprano), Mandla Mndebele (baritone) and Lukhanyo Moyake (tenor) was superb and had the audience enthralled.

The schools that took part were Thembalethu Primary, Holy Cross Primary, Mzoxolo Primary and the Glenwood House Singing Department.
