ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark was crowned Miss Universe at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant, held at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City on 16 November 2024.
Contestants from a record 125 countries and territories competed in the pageant.
The previous record of 94 entrants was set in 2018.
Miss South Africa, Mia le Roux, unfortunately had to withdraw from the competition due to vertigo.
Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina representing Nigeria is the 1st runner-up.
María Fernanda Beltrán representing Mexico is 2nd runner-up.
