GEORGE NEWS - With a record number of people attending the Life Community Services' (LCS) AGM last month, it turned out to be a vibrant meeting where donors, supporters and friends who faithfully plowed into the organisation this past year were thanked.
"Our guests were not only served delicious freshly baked muffins and special hot drinks, but also a wonderful report about the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus over this past financial year," said the CEO, Maryna de Vries.
"Details of the year's journey, shared by a number of people, reflected the wonders of how God has worked in all the different facets of serving over 1 000 children each day."

To motivate all the friends and supporters attending, testimonies were given and the Grade Seven class sang "I Just Want to Speak the Name of Jesus" under the leadership of Denzel Kennedy, with Neville Arnolds and Nealon Andrews accompanying them. The harmonies and sincerity of the moment were beautiful and uplifting.
Pr Amos Moyikwa prayed a powerful prayer of gratitude over the gathering, and Pr Amo O'Kennedy gave a challenging message.
Some of the boutique-quality handwork from Isipho, Life's sustainable development project, were made available and were displayed.
Shofar Church made its facility available to the LCS for the event, at no charge.
