GEORGE NEWS - The George Service Clubs are inviting the community to join in a day of fun, food and fundraising at their GSC Fundraising Fiesta, taking place on 6 September at Rendezvous Cottages.

Visitors can look forward to a charming tea garden serving tea, coffee, cakes, pancakes, and a variety of savoury favourites including potjie, sosaties, hamburgers, curry bunnies, breakfast rolls, boerewors rolls, sausage rolls, chicken pies, and quiches. A bazaar pudding and cake table will tempt those with a sweet tooth.

For families, there will be candyfloss and popcorn machines, a candy table, a jumping castle for kids, face painting fun, and thrift store treasures. Homemade foodstuffs such as jams, marmalades, frozen meals, and baked goods will also be on sale, alongside a selection of gifts and lucky draws.

Organisers promise a warm, welcoming community atmosphere with many surprises in store.
