NATIONAL NEWS - Six men will appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court on Thursday to face charges of armed business robbery, police said.
Captain Jethro Mtshali said the six, aged between 28 and 39, were arrested after a foiled robbery attempt at warehouse premises in Kempton Park on Tuesday.
They held the security guard at the warehouse at gunpoint, but he managed to press the panic button. Policemen responded to the alarm and gave chase to the alleged robbers who tried to escape in a vehicle, said Mtshali.
A firearm was confiscated at the scene.
