GEORGE NEWS - A brand-new single, Lifeline from Elvis Blue's upcoming album, Journey will be aired on the radio in this coming week.
The track is irresistibly uplifting, while still highlighting Blue's signature vocals. Elvis is pleased to have had such a fruitful year which included a journey to Los Angeles to write new material with some of America's most successful contemporary songwriters.
They included Pam Sheyne (Christina Aguilera, Seal, Jessica Simpson), Jeff Franzel (Josh Groban, Taylor Dayne) and Richard Harris (Jordan Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Antebellum). Together, the quartet penned the effervescent Lifeline.
Since Blue burst onto the scene in 2011, when he won the sixth season of Idols, he has achieved more than most other artists achieve in a lifetime. Now, with the release of Journey, Elvis Blue is gearing up to start the next phase of what has already been an epic rite of passage. Journey is scheduled to be in stores on 13 July.
Commenting on the release, Elvis said it is important to produce soulful music that touches a nerve with listeners. "Music has this power and I enjoy relating my own life experiences as well as those of people who touch my life." The young father was in the ministry with the Eden Church for several years, before hitting the news headlines.
