15 injured in KZN taxi accident

NATIONAL NEWS - Fifteen people were injured when a taxi overturned on the M4 South, outside Durban, on Monday afternoon, paramedics said.

ER24 spokesman Derrick Banks said 11 people had minor to moderate injuries and four people had suspected neck and back injuries.

"It is suspected that a mechanical fault caused the taxi to overturn, but police will investigate. All the people were treated on the scene," said Banks.

He said traffic was severely affected with two of the highway's four lanes closed.
