GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - Intercare Medical Practice welcomes Dr James Stopforth to their primary care team.

He will be joining Drs Mari Neethling, Rory Taylor, Des Benkenstein and Jeanné Stopforth.

James, Jeanné and their two sons spent five years working and living abroad. Having gained valuable experience and training in general practice, they returned to George a number of years ago.

Most of the extended Stopforth family members live here and that was the main reason for returning to the Garden Route.
Intercare offers a full service general practice which cares for all ages. New patients are welcome. Patients without appointments (walk ins) will also be accommodated during office hours.

Voting Poll
The organisers of the George Cheese Festival, Outeniqua Primary’s annual fundraiser, has to find new premises in terms of the new Liquor Bill that forbids the sale of alcohol on school premises. No special or temporary licences may be awarded to a school. Do you support this clause?
Yes, schools should never be associated with alcohol.
George Herald 38%
No, alcohol is part of life. Kids see it everywhere so this law is hypocritical.
George Herald 14%
No hard tack should be allowed, but a wine and malt licence should be granted for special events.
