GEORGE NEWS - All club competitions were rained out last week and no play was possible on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday said Jenny Oberlander, golf coordinator of the George Golf Club.
The schedule for the week ahead is as follows:
Thursday 16 August: PM - SPCA Golf Day
Friday 17 August: AM - Linky Malan party
PM - Chris Jordaan party
Saturday 18 August: Members competition, medal and IPS, sponsored by Heather Park Superspar
Sunday 19 August: PM - Monthly mixed
Monday 20 August: AM - Ladies C League vs Plettenberg Bay
