2012 Matric exams: 76 days to go

WESTERN CAPE NEWS - With only 76 days to go until Western Cape matrics start their final National Senior Certificate exams, Grade 12 learners should be arming themselves with all the necessary information and books to succeed.
Exams start on 22 October with English and Dramatic Arts. The last NSC exams for 2012 are scheduled for Wednesday 28 November.
The Western Cape Education department has prepared a booklet called "Tips for Success" to provide advice on preparing for the exams, planning your study time and what to cover in each subject. The study timetable, for example, advises learners to set aside three blocks of study per day of 50 minutes each with a ten minute break between each block.
The national education portal website, Thutong, also has a "Support for Matrics" page which includes a variety of resources for Grade 12 learners, including self study guides and Life Sciences Grade 12 Exam revision.
