GEORGE NEWS FLASH - A pair of Thembalethan rappers are proud of the result of their collaboration, a single called 'Sakanyuka', that has been downloaded by fans a few hundred times after being released on Facebook only two weeks ago.
The duo, Luthando Nkosana (stage name Churx) and Charles Bakubaku (stage name Ntethoyabantu - 'voice of the nation') met each other in Thembalethu on at the beginning of June when Luthando arrived in Thembalethu from King William's Town. Both are rappers who have each released one CD in the recent past and are working on new albums.
They clicked from the word go and Charles took Luthando to his recording studio the same day they met to show him around. They started rapping spontaneously for the fun, and a new song was born.
